Alex Raich attended Eastern Kentucky University where she lettered four years on the women’s soccer team. A vocal leader for EKU since her arrival on campus in 2007, Coach Raich played in 72 games in her career, third most all-time, and was one of the best goal scorers in program history, as she is second all-time at EKU in career goals and points.
A four-time Colonel Scholar and a consistent member of the Dean’s List and President’s List, Coach Raich graduated in the spring of 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management. After graduating, she assisted communities in Guatemala through Soccer Without Borders where she was also a volunteer coach.
Following her playing career, Coach Raich was the assistant coach for the Eastern Kentucky University women’s soccer team. Coach Raich received a master’s of science in physical education in December of 2012. Raich was also a staff coach for the 2001 and 2002 girls Kentucky State Olympic Development Program team, and holds a USSF D coaching license.
