Matthew Pritchett has 23 years of coaching experience at the college, high school, club and Olympic Development Program levels. He has been the head boys’ and girls’ varsity coach at The Pembroke Hill School since 1999. In that time, he has developed one of the top high school programs in the state of Missouri.
Coach Pritchett grew up in the St. Louis club soccer system and went on to play at Columbia College as a goalkeeper. A job opportunity moved him to Kansas City in 1991, where he continued his coaching with the Odyssey, Blue Valley and Kansas City Legends Soccer Clubs. He has also coached with the Olympic Development Program and, for the last several years, has been on the Region II coaching staff at developmental camps.
He currently holds coaching licenses with USSF and NSCAA and has a master’s degree in elementary education from Rockhurst University.
