Referees

Welcome to Refereering at Brookside Soccer Club

If you would like to be a referee, you must meet the following requirements:
You must be at least 13 years old as of April 2015. You can also be an adult and referee; in fact we always welcome more gray hair on the referees!
No experience is necessary. We will train you. If you do have prior experience in other leagues, great! However, we would still like you to attend BSC’s Referee Training Clinic so you will understand what makes being a BSC referee so cool. Being a referee can be both a money earner and an opportunity for volunteer hours in a community service role.

The next course is scheduled for 8 am-4 pm Saturday, Feb. 7 at UMKC, BLOCH School of Management, Room 12, 5108 Cherry St. The building is set back of Cherry Street between 51st & 52nd streets. For a map of the location, click HERE.
Please note a change in the location of the meeting. New referees to BSC should attend the entire session; the returning referee meeting is from 1-2:30 pm on the same date and same location. To sign up or for questions, please send an email to Referee@BrooksideSoccer.org.
