Soccer For The City™

2018 Winter Camps

Our camps foster appreciation of the game through fun, exciting and engaging activities through large-and small-group activities. Our unique curriculum will familiarize players of proper techniques and increase each player’s skill level. All sessions will be held at The Soccer Lot, 2525 Jefferson St., KCMO.

Camps will be led by Tato Chiaparro and a staff of local college soccer players. Coach Tato is a competitive coach for Brookside Soccer Club, has worked with the men’s soccer team at UMKC and their camps and played professional futsal in the U.S. and Brazil.

Camps and clinics are available for all soccer players: recreational, competitive and non-club kids.

Mini Stars is designed to introduce the passion for soccer to future soccer stars (ages 2 to 5). Players will learn basic skills like kicking, dribbling and throwing in the ball, but in a low-pressure setting and in an interactive child-centered environment. We will use soccer to help players develop and gain strength towards their physical development (gross and fine motor skills) and psychosocial development (interact, accept, respect).
